The Preschool Box

The Preschool Box is one of my favorite subscriptions boxes. When I opened the box for the first time I was blown away. Super high-quality activities perfect for preschoolers.

Each box comes with 16+ activities, a guide for parents, a book, and more. The activities are well organized so you can easily (and within minutes!) set your child up with their first project.

And the coolest thing? The Preschool Box is setup as an actual preschool curriculum! If you’re homeschooling for preschool, you can use this subscription box curriculum to teach your child.

There are 12 months of boxes. Each builds on the next. Starting with letters and numbers through more advanced concepts. And the final box is a graduation box for completing preschool.

If you’re unexpectedly homeschooling for preschool (which happened to me when schools closed) this subscription box preschool curriculum will allow you to have preschool at home without a ton of prep work for you as the parent.

For those of us homeschooling for preschool this subscription box preschool curriculum is exactly what we need this year.

We Craft Subscription Box

We Craft Subscription Box is one of the best monthly craft boxes for kids, not just preschoolers. One of the coolest things about this box is that you can share it between two kids.

And the activities are fun for kids ages 3 to 9. So, it’s good for preschoolers and early elementary aged kiddos.

When I received a previous subscription box for my preschooler my older child was feeling left out.

Her virtual schooling activities didn’t quite have the same flair. And they didn’t come in a box. So, my kids are thrilled to have a box they can share.

Subscription boxes are great gifts and a fun way to get new activities but they can be expensive. And getting two regularly, one for each kid, is beyond my budget. I love that this one can be shared!

Plus the crafts and activities are great! High-quality, fun stuff that my kids loved doing. Our first box was dinosaur themed and it was awesome!

Plus some of the art supplies can be used for other projects in the future. I definitely recommend this as a craft or activity box for preschoolers. You can read my complete review of this fun kids craft box here!

Little Learners Busy Box

Little Learners Busy Box is designed with educational activities for kids ages 2 to 4. It’s perfect for preschoolers and a great way to encourage learning through play!

Each monthly box has a fun theme. And there are two options. The first is the Mini Box, with 3 reusable activities included. And the second is the Big Box, which has 5 reusable activities every month.

This box has a low price point. And is a fun box if you’re looking for simple, fun educational activities without spending a ton of money.

Get Ready 4 Kindergarten

Get Ready 4 Kindergarten is another preschool curriculum subscription box. It has excellent reviews. And looks like a really amazing option for preschool at home.

I love that each monthly box is built around a fun theme. It contains two books, games, and activities that teach early learning concepts your preschooler will need in Kindergarten.

This box is an excellent option for done-for-you at home preschool in a box you can use to prepare your child for Kindergarten.

Tiny Turtles Let’s Learn to Read Preschool Subscription Box

The Tiny Turtles Subscription Box is a box for preschoolers that focuses on learning letters and early reading and writing skills.

Letter recognition and early literacy skills are a major focus in preschool because it is so foundational for everything that comes after in school.

Early literacy skills are the main focus of my at home preschooling efforts because I want to make sure my little one is ready for kindergarten (in whatever form school will take next year).

My older child really benefited from learning how to read young when it came to succeeding in school. And I want that for my now preschooler.

And the Tiny Turtles preschool subscription box teaches these important early literacy skills with activities that are fun!

Green Kids Crafts Box

The Green Kids Crafts Box contains everything you need for a fun mix of science and art projects every month. Up to 6 projects per box. With a focus on science and art.

And all the projects and materials are “green”. They use eco-friendly materials for their educational and imaginative monthly activities.

There are two options for Green Kids Crafts Boxes. The first is the Junior Box for ages 2 to 4. And the second is the Discovery Box for ages 5 to 10+.

When you’re looking for a subscription box for your preschooler, you can decide where they fit. I think most preschoolers will probably want the Junior Box.

But if you have a 5 year old preschooler with some craft and science skills they might be ready for the Discovery Box.

Music Adventure Subscription Box for Preschoolers

Have you ever noticed how much of learning for little kids happens with music? Preschools are full of the sounds of little voices singing about everything from letters and colors to Santa and safety.

Kids learn through music. And they love it! It’s fun! The Music Subscription Box for preschoolers is a monthly box of music activities and games for kids ages 2 to 5, just like your preschooler.

Ultimate Sensory Box

The Ultimate Sensory subscription box for preschoolers and kindergartners includes 10+ activities for sensory play and learning. Plus a children’s book to match the theme.

The reviews of this box are all 5 stars as of this writing. And contain absolute raves from parents. Sensory learning is important, especially in early childhood education. And with this box, it’s fun as well.

I also like that everything you take out of the box fits back into it. And there are bags included for storage for organization. So you don’t have to worry about a sensory toy explosion in your home.

Note that the box is quarterly rather than monthly.

KidArtLit Subscription Box

There is so much to love about this subscription box! First, the tagline says it all: “children’s art kit meets storytime”. I love it already!

Each kit contains unique picture books and the supplies to make TWO, yes two art projects. This means this is the perfect subscription box for siblings or friends on a playdate to do together!

Kids love getting new books! (And so do adults!- I need a book subscription box!). This book subscription box for preschoolers will send your child three new carefully curated books every month. Plus a toy or activity to go along with the books.

Choose from boxes for kids ages 0 to 3 or 4 to 7 depending on your preschoolers age. The Imagination Box is the box with three books and a surprise toy or activity.

But there is also a book of the month option for one book a month which is at a significantly reduced price if you just want to try this out.

Peaceful Play Box

The Peaceful Play Box was created to give YOU, mom and dad, some peaceful time of your own while your kids are happily occupied with the educational, long-lasting, and fun activities in this box.

The Peaceful Play Box ships once every three months and contains books, toys, projects, and sensory tools tested for independent and long-lasting play for kids ages 3 to 7.

If you’re trying to work from home or work with your preschooler on independent play or just need a few minutes of quiet at home, these activities will help your child play independently and have fun!

My Busy Box Buddy Subscription Box

Each My Busy Buddy Box contains 7 or more items for kids to explore, learn, create and have fun.

One of the things I like about this box is the narrow age increments so that you can make sure your preschooler gets a subscription box of activities at their level of learning and play.

Choose from a box for 2 to 3 year olds, 3 to 4 year olds, 4 to 5 year olds, and 5 to 6 year olds. And you’ll also find this is one of the lower priced activity boxes for preschoolers.

Tiny Tikes Learning Preschool Subscription Box

This preschool subscription box was created by a kindergarten teacher with educational activities to make sure every child is ready to enter school.

Your child will receive their box quarterly with this subscription. And activities are designed for kids ages 3 to 6 with three tiers to choose from.

First, you can choose print and go activities that will be delivered to your inbox quarterly for printing. Second, is a physical box of learning activities delivered every quarter. And finally, the VIP level box where you can customize the activities you receive in a box each quarter.

You also get access to an online parenthood community with other bonuses with the top two tiers.

Wonder Kits Subscription Box for Preschoolers

Wonder Kits are a wonderful preschool subscription box at a great price point! They are one of the least expensive monthly boxes.

And for your money, you get five age-appropriate STEM activities and crafts along with detailed instructions. And all the materials you need to complete each project.

Each month you’ll receive 2 to 3 hands on activities that go along with the theme of the included book.

And BONUS, each box has materials for TWO KIDS to do each activity (or one kid to do the activities twice). I absolutely love the subscription boxes with materials for sibling pairs or friends to do crafts together.

Sproutly Kid’s Gardening Subscription Box

This monthly gardening subscription box is designed to get your kids enjoying time outdoors AND in the kitchen!

Every month your preschooler will get a box of fun new stuff including a new plant to grow, a new recipe, and a new craft. With everything you need to grow your child’s new plant.

According to reviews, the directions are easy to follow and the activities are fun!

Monthly Preschool Learning Crates

Subscription boxes make a great gift at any age. But I really think they are uniquely suited for the preschool years.

In my own experience, preschoolers are so excited about learning. And exploring. And a monthly subscription of preschool crafts and activities, or fun books, or games is just what they need to take their explorations of the world to the next level.

Using a Subscription Box for Preschooler

This year, I find myself unexpectedly planning to homeschool my preschooler. The plan was to attend a wonderful local preschool this fall. And we were all set up and enrolled. And then well, you know what happened. 2020 has taught us all what happens to the best laid plans.

So, I had to make a new plan. Preschool at home this year. At first, I didn’t know where to start. Researching preschool curriculums and homeschooling resources was kind of taking me in circles.

With less than a month to create a plan, you can imagine my excitement when I realized there is a subscription box for that! (Check it out, it’s first on my list above).

And I love the idea of using a monthly subscription box preschool curriculum. It’s so easy. Nothing to print. Minimal prep ahead of time. And my preschooler is so excited to do the activities when the box arrives.

If you’re doing preschool at home this year, having a box of planned-for-you learning activities complete with craft supplies arrive every month is hard to beat. (I speak from experience!).

And even if this isn’t the case and you’re just looking for activities for your preschooler or to supplement the learning they get at their own preschool you’re going to love these boxes!

Everything from preschool craft boxes, to STEM activities, books, toys, and more, perfect for kids in the 3 to 5 age range.

Because your preschooler is unique, there are going to be some subscription boxes that are a perfect match for their interests (and some that aren’t). So, check out all the options above to find the one your child will love the most!
